Devayani is a Tamil actress who has also done a number of films in Bengali, Malayalam, Hindi and Telugu.


BASICS
Devayani was born on 22nd June 1974 in Mumbai, India as Sushma. Jayadev and Lakshmi are her parents. Mayoor and Nakul are her brothers, who are also actors. She is a graduate in Commerce from the National College at the Mumbai University.


On 9th April 2001 she married Rajakumaran, assistant director for Surya Vamsam. His directorial debut was Nee Varuvai Ena starring Devayani. In 2006 the couple was blessed with a baby girl. They have built a house named Kadhal Kottai. Actress Roja and Meena are her best friends.
